Baidu Antivirus - From China with fury

This week, new viruses hit several computers.
I tried Kaspersky (no detection),
I tried AVIRA (only 2 detections, ie TR.Crypt.xxxxx.Gen2 and TR.Crypt.xxxxx.Gen5), after I have tried Baidu.

For the moment the best solution. Fast, power and it has found several viruses / malware in few time.

NOTE: when use Baidu Antivirus, select option to use the AVIRA definition virus list.

My external USB hard drive is not working but it is detected. Avira blocks it

I have a WD Element desktop of 3Tb (external) where I store my data as backup.

Lately, the HD was not working, but it is detected......

A real mystery.

I can not explain why, but AVIRA blocked it......

I tried everything; I thought of drivers, then windows upgrades, but I did not find the solution.

Then I found this post and suggested the following winner procedure:

Avira vs Gmail (IMAP 993) used with Thunderbird

Yesterday, I was going to activate Avira Protection Mail but I found out that it does not work with 
Gmail.

As e-mail client I use thunderbird (good product) and I use Gmail with IMAP on the default port 993.

After I have set IMAP Account port 993 in the Avira Protection Mail configure panel.

I have close Thunderbir and restart it.

Good Thunderbird will not catch any e-mail because it has a conflict with Avira or better:

"Emails (from Gmail) are encrypted so Avira can not read them".

After I read the following article (click here), so I turned off  Avira Protection Mail.

A real shame, bad money spent.

It would have been nice to have a plugin inside the thunderbird or .....

Why Google Drive doesn't work via web

If you try to load the Google Drive via web and you don't see the files and the page is blocked then there is only one the solution. The problem is the Kaspersky anti-virus that block this page; the solution is disable the "Parent Control":

Today suddenly when I opened a new page on Google Chrome appeared to me the page of a new search engine. This new page was: "Delta Search".

Incredible I took a nice virus without my realizing it.

toolbar_log.txt big file generated from AVG

Today I found an amazing thing in my friend's computer.
The hard disk size was reduced significantly, without any reason.
By using a program called TreeSizeFree I noticed that there was a file called Toolbar_log.txt of 3Gb. Incredible !!!
